The Baltimore Ravens are reportedly still engaged in talks with free-agent linebacker Bobby Wagner, per NFL insider Josina Anderson.
The situation is “still fluid,” but these extended talks could be an indicator of a future deal that brings the all-time great LB to the AFC North.
I’m told that Bobby Wagner and the #Ravens are “still talking,” per league source. That’s definitely positive, yet still fluid.

The NFL world took to Twitter to react to this intriguing free agency development.
This free-agent courtship has been going on for quite some time now. Some Ravens fans are getting impatient with Wagner’s indecision.
“I refuse to get hype until it’s OFFICIAL official,” one wrote.
“I can’t deal with another talking phase, I need commitment,” another added.
Please Josina, please tweet what we are all waiting for https://t.co/6JbAL6aDGo

The reigning Super Bowl-champion Los Angeles Rams are also reportedly in discussions with the Seattle Seahawks legend.
Earlier today, head coach Sean McVay said the team is “definitely interested” in acquiring Wagner.
“For some reason this still doesn’t seem like a deal getting done. Ravens are always hush hush on deals. Could be leverage against LAR,” one fan suggested.
“Ravens don’t leak stuff like this. So this is looking like Bobby putting pressure on the Rams,” another added.
And McVay confirmed this morning that the #Rams are still talking with Wagner too.
Seems like it’s down to 2 teams and the ball is in Wagner’s court https://t.co/kF6dNV0NPd

Through 10 seasons in Seattle, Wagner logged six First-Team All-Pro selections, eight Pro-Bowl appearances, 23.5 sacks and 1,383 tackles as the leader of the Seahawks’ defense.
Notching a career-high 170 tackles in 2021, the 31-year-old linebacker clearly has plenty more gas left in the tank for whoever wins his services this offseason.
