The Baltimore Ravens have found their new offensive coordinator.
They announced on Tuesday morning that they have hired Georgia offensive coordinator Todd Monken to replace Greg Roman.
Monken returns to the NFL after spending the previous three seasons as Georgia’s OC. His offense this past season was one of the best in the country as the Bulldogs averaged 41 points per game.
That ranked fourth in the country and he also led their offense to average 500 yards per game. The Bulldogs also finished fifth in third down conversion rate and led the nation in scoring percentage in the red zone.
Before Monken was with Georgia, he spent time with both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Cleveland Browns.
He’ll now take over an offensive unit that struggled to put points on the board toward the end of the season. Once Lamar Jackson went down, the Ravens averaged less than 14 points per game.
