Baltimore originally listed the quarterback as a full participant on Friday’s injury report, but oddly changed the designation to “limited” when they ruled him out on Saturday.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Lamar Jackson ran the scout team on Friday, and the NFL injury report policy states this type of work should have made him a limited participant. NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said that “the league will look into this” to see if league discipline is required.

Perhaps this was nothing more than a slight oversight by the Baltimore Ravens, but the Lamar Jackson injury change had a major impact on the Vegas lines. So far this season, the quarterback has completed 10 of his 15 attempts for 68 yards, no touchdowns, and no interceptions.
With Lamar Jackson sidelined due to injury, the quarterback will face a white-hot Chicago Bears team. Led by quarterback Caleb Williams and first-year head coach Ben Johnson, the team enters Week 8 with an impressive 4-2 record. If the 1-5 Baltimore Ravens want to keep their season alive, they’ll need to play their best football of the season.
