The Baltimore Ravens have reportedly spoken to former Tampa Bay offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich about their vacant OC position.
“Not sure of the timing of it, but another OC candidate that John Harbaugh has spoken to is Byron Leftwich. Isn’t clear whether he’s part of the second interview rotation,” team insider Jeff Zrebiec reports.
The Bucs parted ways with Leftwich after a disappointing season in 2022. That being said, the former NFL QB had previously drawn head coaching interest from teams around the league after winning a Super Bowl in 2021.
Georgia offensive coordinator Todd Monken is considered a top target for the Ravens’ OC job. Monken, who went through his second interview with Baltimore today, has also interviewed for Leftwich’s former job in Tampa Bay.
The Ravens are on the hunt for their next offensive coordinator after the departure of Greg Roman earlier this year.
