The Baltimore Ravens lost to the Cincinnati Bengals 24 to 17 in the Wild Card round of the playoffs. The difference was a fumble by quarterback Tyler Huntley on the one-yard line that the Bengals returned for a touchdown.
Ravens running back J.K. Dobbins told reporters after the game that he was unhappy with the amount of carries he had in the game and lack of red zone carries. Dobbins only had a total of 13 carries in a game he should have been featured in.
The Ravens have kept Dobbins on a pitch count since coming back from injury but he is also one of the Ravens best offensive weapons. The Ravens needed to use Dobbins more, 13 carries is just not enough. Dobbins averaged 4.8 yards per carry had a touchdown and had four receptions for 43 yards.
it is no secret that I have had my criticisms of offensive coordinator Greg Roman and this is another example of why. Roman did come up with a decent game plan and was able to move the ball against the Bengals. The Ravens had every chance to beat the Bengals even without Lamar Jackson. Dobbin wants the ball and next season they need to give it to him.
