After a one-year stint with the Baltimore Ravens in 2023, it became evident earlier this offseason that Odell Beckham Jr. would not be re-signing with the team. That is now official as he’s found a new home.
On Friday afternoon, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and Adam Schefter reported that Beckham is signing a one-year contract with the Miami Dolphins worth up to $8.25 million.

Beckham, 31, had a nice bounce-back season last year after missing extended periods of time in 2021 and 2022 due to injury. He appeared in 14 games, his highest mark since 2019, and caught 35 passes for 565 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
The former first-round pick finished second on the team in receiving yardage behind Zay Flowers, fourth in receptions, and first in yards per catch (16.1). Beckham’s role in the passing game fluctuated throughout the season and ultimately dwindled a bit down the stretch into the postseason.
However, he some memorable catches and plays, particularly during a stretch in the middle of the season. While he’s no longer the same dynamic athlete and premier wideout that he used to be, Beckham showed he still possesses playmaking ability last season.
For the Dolphins, he won’t need to be anything more than a complimentary receiving option, as Miami has one of the league’s top wideout duos in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Adding Beckham into the fold gives them arguably the most well-rounded core in the NFL.
The Dolphins are not on the Ravens’ opponents list for 2024, so the Ravens will not have to face off against Beckham until at least 2025 at the earliest. The Ravens ultimately opted to re-sign Agholor at a cheaper price and draft Devontez Walker in the fourth round to round out their own wide receiver room this offseason.
