A clear lack of consensus for what the Ravens will do in Round 1
A final scrape of the mock draft content as the hours until the 2024 NFL Draft begin shows there’s no clear consensus on who the Ravens will take at No. 30 overall. On the eight final mock drafts found thus far, eight different prospects were named.
The Athletic’s Dane Brugler: Chop Robinson, EDGE, Penn State
The Ravens drafting another Penn State edge rusher in the first round? Robinson has the best first step in this class and the upside of a pass rusher who can produce double-digit sacks.
NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah: Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson
The Ravens always value players who can rush the quarterback and guys who can cover pass catchers. Wiggins has outstanding cover ability, but Baltimore will need to help him be a little more of an urgent defender against the run.
NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein: Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia
The Ravens need to eventually find a right tackle — and they might need to find one for this season. If Mims falls here, Baltimore could do much worse than adding one of the most physically gifted specimens in this draft.
Good Morning Football’s Peter Schrager: Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama
Kool-Aid could go much higher tonight. I know teams that absolutely love him. Nick Saban has been singing his praises to those who’ll listen. The Alabama-to-Baltimore pipeline is real.
ESPN’s Field Yates: Darius Robinson, EDGE, Missouri
Robinson does a little bit of everything and is super versatile. He was a defensive tackle early in his Missouri career before moving into an edge role, finishing with 8.5 sacks in his final season. The Ravens lost Jadeveon Clowney in free agency this offseason, but Robinson would keep this Baltimore pass rush strong.
CBS Sports’ Pete Prisco: Jordan Morgan, OT, Arizona
They could consider receiver Xavier Worthy here, but in the end I think their line needs more help. Morgan could play right tackle or slide inside to guard.
PFF’s Trevor Sikkema: Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma (via trade UP to No. 23)
Guyton’s experience and technique are raw, but he is a high-ceiling offensive tackle. The Ravens will likely take a tackle sometime in Round 1. Here, they trade up for one of the last sure-fire first-round projections at the position.
Sporting News’ Vinnie Iyer: Graham Barton, OT, Duke
The Ravens need to get an option for either right tackle or left guard to keep the strength of their offensive line intact after they moved on from Morgan Moses and Kevin Zeitler. Barton is a candidate to be a strong, immediate starter at either position, maybe best suited to dominate inside.
Draftwire’s Jeff Risdon: Mike Sainristil, CB, Michigan
Yet another player/team connection that was expressed to me in Indianapolis that makes a lot of sense still. I firmly believe the NFL likes Sainristil more than the draft media does.
