Jadeveon Clowney will be staying in the AFC North for the 2023 season.
According to Jordan Schultz, the Ravens are signing Clowney to a one-year deal. The terms of this deal are unknown at this time.
Clowney, a former No. 1 overall pick from South Carolina, appeared in 12 games for the Browns last season. He had 28 total tackles, four quarterback hits, three pass breakups and two sacks.
Although the 2022 season was very disappointing for Clowney, it became increasingly evident that he didn’t get along with the team. Perhaps a change of scenery will allow him to revert to his 2021 form.
In 2021, Clowney had 37 tackles, 19 quarterback hits, nine sacks and two forced fumbles for the Browns. It was easily his best season since 2018.

Clowney will join a defense in Baltimore that features Justin Madubuike, Michael Pierce, Odafe Oweh, Roquan Smith, Patrick Queen and Tyus Bowser among others.
The Ravens will kick off their regular season against the Texans, the team that ironically drafted Clowney in 2014.
