The Baltimore Ravens extended their lead in the AFC North after defeating the Cleveland Browns by the final score of 16-10 at M&T Bank Stadium on “Sunday Night Football” in Week 12 of the 2021 season.
Ravens outside linebacker Tyus Bowser was a big contributor to the team’s success in the contest. Bowser played on 95% of defensive snaps, notching one sack and being a factor on multiple plays in coverage.
Bowser’s best sequence came in the final minute of regulation. The Browns needed a touchdown and faced a key fourth down. Cleveland quarterback Baker Mayfield found tight end David Njoku for a completion, but before he could reach the first-down marker Bowser tackled him to the ground short of the line to gain, securing Baltimore a victory.

Maybe more exciting then the tackle itself was former Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis cheering for Bowser as he made the game-saving tackle.

Bowser has made his presence felt with the team this season. In 11 games, he leads the team in sacks with 5.5. Bowser also has 39 combined tackles with six coming for a loss. The fifth-year defender could very well find himself in the Pro Bowl for the first-time in his NFL career if he continues to play at a high level and rack up impressive performances.
