Harford County’s bus transportation system, Harford Transit LINK, will offer free bus rides June 20.
The free rides mark the American Public Transportation Association’s Dump the Pump Day — and annual event to encourage people to ride public transportation.
Harford LINK has 12 buses operating seven fixed routes throughout the county and into Cecil County.
LINK transports riders to places like Harford Community College, University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical centers, Perryman Peninsula, Riverside business communities and Harford Mall.
LINK also can be used to access broader transportation services like Amtrak in Aberdeen, Edgewood and Perryville along with MTA, MARC trains, MARC commuter buses and regional Greyhound.
For more information on Harford LINK routes, riders can use the Passio GO! app to preview bus routes, schedule rides and track buses in real time.
