Former No. 1 overall pick Jadeveon Clowney remains a free agent, but at least one team is reportedly looking to sign the veteran pass rusher.
Clowney visited the Baltimore Ravens this week and has received a contract offer from the team, according to CBS Sports’ Josina Anderson.
However, Anderson said Clowney is not signing right away, and will instead take some time to mull it over.
I’m told free agent DE Jadeveon Clowney received an offer from the #Ravens and is taking some time to think it through, per source.

Clowney, 30, spent the last two seasons with the Browns, but his tenure in Cleveland ended on a sour note. Clowney was suspended for the regular season finale after being sent home by the team for making critical public comments.
Prior to signing with Cleveland, Clowney appeared in eight games for the Tennessee Titans in 2020 after playing for the Seattle Seahawks in 2019.
He spent the first five seasons of his career with the Houston Texans, who drafted him with the top pick in 2014. Clowney closed out his time in Houston with three consecutive Pro Bowl selections from 2016-18.
For his career, Clowney has appeared in 109 regular season games, amassing 320 total tackles, 43 sacks, 13 forced fumbles, eight fumble recoveries and one interception.
