Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was unable to finish last night’s game against the Baltimore Ravens as he suffered a wrist injury. But after the game, he appeared to indicate something pretty bad.
Burrow went back onto the field before the end of the game and shook hands with Ravens players afterwards. When he spoke to Ravens linebacker Patrick Queen it appeared that he said that he “felt a pop” and then mouthed “we’ll see.”
NFL fans are already speculating as to what he might have meant there. Some think that Burrow was misheard while others believe he might be on the shelf for a while.

“‘I felt a pop so. Gonna get an MRI. We’ll see,’ Probably, my guess is a torn ligament in the wrist,” one fan speculated.
“I saw this and people are saying this is an Ulnar Collateral Ligament injury. This may be true but this isn’t the UCL Tommy John made famous. The thumb also has an Ulnar Collateral Ligament. You would think anatomist could have come up with a different name,” another suggested.
“Damn… Speedy recovery, Joe,” a third wrote.
We all wish Joe Burrow the best and hope that it’s nothing too serious.
