Justin Tucker is one of the best kickers we’ve ever seen in the NFL. But not so much this season…
The Ravens’ All-Pro is quietly having one of the worst years of his career thus far with an 80.8% success rate on field goal attempts and another 44-yard miss in Sunday night’s win over the Chargers.
By the numbers, Tucker could actually be considered a “below average” kicker in 2023 with the league average hovering around 86%. Something that sounds near- blasphemous when you think about the type of career he’s had.

Baltimore currently ranks 23rd out of 32 teams when it comes to the kicking game which isn’t what anyone could’ve predicted going into the year.
With Tucker’s track record it’s hard to imagine the veteran not getting it corrected as we head towards the final third of the season.
His next chance comes against the Rams in the early window on Sunday.
