Lamar Jackson and Odell Beckham Jr. haven’t gotten a ton of reps together just yet, but the former MVP believes there’s a connection developing.
The two were able to hit up the Commanders for a big gain during Tuesday’s joint session and cornerback Marlon Humphrey has gone on-record that the duo is going to be “sweet” this season.
Jackson agreed after Tuesday’s practice. Telling Ravens.com, “I feel like our chemistry, it’s there. And he’s a lot faster than people give him credit for. A lot faster.”

OBJ also spoke on the two’s growing relationship during Wednesday’s press conference. Saying, “You have a deep respect for greats.”
“I always knew of him … but there was always a mutual respect from afar. I watched him when he was in college, I watched him when he was here. You have a deep respect for greats and the relationship is definitely developing. It’s just cool to be able to kick it on and off the field. … Everything is cool. I’m definitely loving that.”

Both stars are looking to get back on track after turbulent seasons in 2022.
For Beckham, he didn’t play at all as he continued rehabbing a knee injury. And Jackson’s knee injury ended up holding him out for the duration Ravens playoff hunt as he pushed for a new contract.
They play their next preseason game on “Monday Night Football” Aug. 21.
