Uninterrupted’s “The Shop” is back for another season, and Baltimore Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson appeared on the show to have a conversation with LeBron James, Maverick Carter and the crew.
When asked about what lessons he takes from King James, Lamar replied, “Everything. Being a champion. I feel like that’s the one thing I wanna take from him, if anything else. Being a champion and being a billionaire.”
“That’s just what I’ve been thinking about since I was a little kid,” Jackson explained. “Being a billionaire and being a champion.”
The dynamic dual-threat also opened up about how he can improve going forward in is career.
“Lately, since I’ve been in the league, defenses have been changing,” Jackson said. “They don’t play me like they play other defenses. I’ve got to get ready for a dog fight every game. They’re going to play their best.”
The former MVP struggled last season, battling illness and injury on his way to just 767 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns to 13 interceptions. Jackson missed five games and the Ravens just missed out on the playoffs in a crowded AFC North division.

Entering his fifth NFL year, Lamar also spoke about his mindset.
“My approach. My mindset. Just a lot maturer. I felt like I was a little immature, not in a bad way, but just like …”
At 25 years old, Jackson is still developing as a QB and a man. And Baltimore will look for that to continue before they commit big money to lock him in as their franchise guy. The Ravens already picked up his fifth-year option which will pay the two-time Pro Bowler $23.1 million this coming season.
Lamar Jackson still has a ways to go before he reaches LeBron James’ status, but he’s reaching for the stars to land in the clouds.
