Lamar Jackson suffered a brief injury scare last week, but the Baltimore Ravens quarterback insisted he’s fine.
Jackson stayed in Baltimore’s Week 11 win over the Cincinnati Bengals despite going into the medical tent with an ankle issue. When asked how he’s feeling during Tuesday’s press conference, he hopped and jogged in place to prove he’s fully healthy.
“I believe I’m good,” Jackson said with a smile, via Sarah Ellison. “I believe I’m 100 percent.”

Jackson ran for 54 yards and completed 16 of 26 passes for 264 yards and two touchdowns in Thursday’s pivotal AFC North victory. The 26-year-old has a career-high 8.1 yards per pass attempt this season with his best quarterback rating (100.1) since 2019’s MVP campaign.
While Jackson shouldn’t miss any time, that’s not the case for his star teammate. Mark Andrews will likely sit out the rest of the season after suffering a more severe ankle injury requiring surgery.
“That was my No. 1 guy when I go off script,” Jackson said of losing Andrews. “Me and him have a connection somehow, someway. We’ll be missing that and just Mark. Mark being Mark. We’ll miss that a lot.”
Zay Flowers has emerged as a potent receiving threat in his rookie year, and Odell Beckham Jr. has recently shown more juice with 212 yards and two touchdowns in the last three games. But Jackson hopes 23-year-old tight end Isaiah Likely can fill a void in Andrews’ absence.
“He’s always open when I’m watching the film,” Jackson said of Likely. “I feel like he’ll step up.”
The 8-3 Ravens will look to extend their division lead during a Sunday Night Football showdown against the Los Angeles Chargers. NBC will air the AFC clash at 8:20 p.m. ET.
