Former Ravens tight end Nick Boyle is at Maryland’s pro day to showcase his skills at a different position.
Boyle, a former fifth-round pick, has played tight end since he was drafted by the Baltimore in 2015. He has 121 career receptions for 1,049 yards and four touchdowns.
With Boyle’s NFL future up in the air, the Delaware product has decided to work out in front of coaches and scouts as a long snapper.
Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic pointed out that Boyle is no stranger to the long snapper position.
“Boyle had started working on the transition to long snapping late in the season,” Zrebiec said. “His ability to long snap was part of the reason then Delaware HC K.C. Keeler committed to a scholarship offer.”

If all goes well, Boyle should earn himself an invite to training camp.
Boyle appeared in 12 games for the Ravens in 2022. He received 106 snaps on special teams and 61 snaps on offense.
