On Saturday morning, ESPN’s Adam Schefter shared an interesting quote from Lamar Jackson’s interview on “The Shop.”
Jackson addressed this topic while on “The Shop,” indicating that he still has something to prove in large part because he’s a Black quarterback in the NFL.
Even though Jackson did comment on this subject, he believes his quote was used out of context. As a result, he called out Schefter on Twitter.
“That was not my response to that specific question don’t start that ADAM,” Jackson tweeted at Schefter.

It’ll be interesting to see if Schefter responds to Jackson’s tweet.
Since entering the NFL in 2018, Jackson has compiled 9,967 passing yards, 3,673 rushing yards, and 105 total touchdowns.
So far, Jackson has managed to win a regular season MVP and lead the Ravens to a 37-12 record.
Jackson’s résumé is missing a Super Bowl ring at the moment, but he has plenty of time to get that done.
