After not much attention from another other teams, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley will reportedly sign his restricted free agency tender that pays him $2.6 million next season.
But why didn’t anyone else pursue the 2022 Pro Bowler? Fans speculated on Twitter over the weekend:
“He f—in sucks,” a user replied.

“The Ravens & [Eric DeCosta] took a calculated risk with putting the lower tender on Huntley but it ultimately worked out,” another said. “Market assessments are part of the job & so far, I’d say he’s done a good job with this move & the tag approach for Lamar.”

“Limited arm strength. Bad decision making at critical times. I do think he should be a backup in this league but I get why teams didn’t pull the trigger,” another commented.

“Because the Bengals being pretenders doesn’t make Tyler Huntley QB1, and the Ravens have been averaging like 12 points per game with Huntley as a starter, and lost most of them. Also he’s directly responsible for that wild card loss.”
