Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews is done for the evening on Thursday Night Football.
Andrews was off to a strong start, catching two passes for 23 yards on the Ravens’ opening drive of the game. However, on that second reception, he was brought down by Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson and suffered an ankle injury.
Andrews was in immediate pain and had to be tended to by medical personnel. Eventually, he walked to the sideline under his own power and went into the medical tent.
The three-time Pro Bowler was initially declared questionable to return before being ruled out.
According to Amazon Prime Video sideline reporter Kaylee Hartung, Andrews is currently on crutches in the Baltimore locker room.
Per @KayleeHartung: Ravens TE Mark Andrews is now in the X-ray room and is on crutches, as he is unable to put weight on his injured ankle.

Adding to the story line involving Andrews’ injury is the fact that Wilson used a controversial hip drop tackle to bring him down.
The NFL is looking into banning the practice, as it has been linked to player injuries.
