Hall of Fame linebacker Ray Lewis suffered a heartbreaking tragedy this month with the death of his son Ray Lewis III. Among those attending the funeral was fellow Hall of Famer Michael Irvin.
Taking to Twitter on Saturday, Irvin shared a video and photo from the funeral and had a message for Lewis. He said that he’s praying for Lewis and and feels awful for the tragedy he had to endure.
“NO FATHER should ever have to bury his son! My heart bleeds for my brother @raylewis and his family. There is NOT anything, anyone can say to ease this [depth] of pain. Just know this MY BROTHER, we love you and God has you,” Irvin wrote.

Ray Lewis III played college football at the University of Miami – as did his father and Irvin – and finished school at Coastal Carolina before a brief career in professional indoor football.
We wish the Lewis family the best amid this tragic time for them.
