Thursday night’s contest between AFC North rivals Baltimore and Cincinnati turned ugly in the first half.
During a Ravens drive in the first quarter, tight end Mark Andrews caught a pass from quarterback Lamar Jackson and made his way for the endzone. Unfortunately, Andrews was tracked down from behind by Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson and had his left foot trapped underneath the linebacker’s full weight.
Andrews was able to walk off the field under how own power, but with a pronounced limp. He was later ruled out of the contest and Ravens head coach John Harbaugh suggested he was done for the season.
The MRI results have confirmed the team’s fears.

The Ravens have to hope Andrews will be back at some point this season – at least for a potential playoff run. He’s a major key to the team’s offense and a favorite target of Lamar Jackson.
