After months and months of hand-wringing and seemingly dead negotiations, the Baltimore Ravens finally gave quarterback Lamar Jackson his long-awaited contract extension. But he was sporting a new look when he arrived at the team facility to sign the deal.
On Thursday, the Ravens posted an image of Jackson signing his contract extension. But while he usually has his hair braided back, this time he had it out for all to see.
Jackson’s locks were very impressive and clearly done by a professional. Some were impressed while others took the opportunity to clown on him.
A few fans said that they loved his hair while others joked that he looks like anything from a plate of fries to a cartoon character:

When you’re a two-time Pro Bowler and former NFL MVP by age 25, you have the right to do your hair however you see fit.
Lamar Jackson is now the highest paid player in NFL history and is intent on proving the Ravens right in giving him what he wanted after so many years of contract negotiations.
We’ll see if his new hair gives him the same powers as Samson in the months to come.
