There’s still no deal with Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens.
The Ravens signed wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. a couple of weeks ago in hopes of getting Jackon closer to signing, but that hasn’t happened. The two sides have been at an impasse since Jackson requested a trade back in early March.
Fans are now wondering what will happen with Jackson, especially since the NFL Draft is this week.

The Ravens are obviously hoping to sign Jackson as they see him as their franchise quarterback.
Still, it’s fascinating that no other team has tried to sign since he’s on the non-exclusive franchise tag. Teams must be a bit frightened that the Ravens would easily match the deal or they don’t want to give up the draft capital that’s required to sign him.
Both the Ravens and Jackson have until Jul. 17 to agree to a long-term extension.
