15 months ago, Odell Beckham Jr. had worked his way back to the top of the NFL mountain and was well on his way to being a Super Bowl MVP.
Unfortunately, an ACL tear cut the biggest moment of his life short and it was almost something he wasn’t sure he could mentally recover from. Admitting that retirement crossed his mind:
“I went through a lot in the last couple of years, and I thought it was over,” Beckham Jr. told The Athletic’s Dan Pompei. “I didn’t want to get back up on the horse and go through the same song and dance all over again.”
After winning a Super Bowl with the Rams, @obj had played for his 3rd team in 4 years and had missed 25 games with injuries in 5 years. And now, a 2nd ACL surgery. His secret truth is he was contemplating retirement. My story on an unlikely comeback. https://t.co/0KyG0fDjqE

OBJ missed the entire 2022 season rehabbing his second torn ACL in three years, but appears fully healthy in his new landing spot with the Ravens.
Beckham signed a one-year, $15 million deal to come to Baltimore with an additional $3.5 million in incentives.
He figures a be a big part of the Ravens new-look offense alongside rookie Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman and All-Pro tight end Mark Andrews.
