The Baltimore Ravens introduced Odell Beckham Jr. during Thursday’s press conference.
Speaking to reporters alongside head coach John Harbaugh and general manager Eric DeCosta, Beckham naturally fielded questions about Lamar Jackson. While he’s talked to the quarterback, the wideout called life “uncertain” when asked if he received any assurances about Jackson staying with the Ravens.
“The goal is to come here and have that possibility to play with him, and I’m excited about that opportunity,” Beckham said.

Beckham celebrated his signing with Jackson in Miami, but he sent a message to his potential new teammate during the press conference.
“Lamar, if you’re listening, I’d love to get to work with you,” Beckham said, via ESPN’s Jamison Hensley.

DeCosta told reporters he hasn’t talked to Jackson since signing Beckham on Sunday, but he’s optimistic they’ll get a deal done.
“Lamar is in our plans,” DeCosta said. “We’re hopeful to still get a long-term deal. He’s the right player for this team.”
The Ravens placed the non-exclusive franchise on Jackson, who later announced that he requested a trade last month. Yet the 2019 MVP reportedly helped recruit Beckham to Baltimore.
With or without Jackson, Beckham joins the Ravens on a one-year deal worth up to $18 million.
