Predicting The Score Of AFC Title Game Between Chiefs-Ravens

In one of the most hotly anticipated games of the entire season, the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game with a trip to Super Bowl LVIII on the line.

The Ravens had the NFL’s best record in the regular season, going 13-4 and losing only one game outside of their own division. Quarterback Lamar Jackson had one of the best seasons of his career, posting career-highs in completion percentage and passing yards, all while continuing to be a dangerous threat on the ground and leading the league in yards per carry. He is the overwhelming favorite to win the NFL MVP award for a second time this year.

The Chiefs are the defending Super Bowl champions but have looked a lot more vulnerable than in years past. While they went a respectable 11-6 in the regular season and won the AFC West title yet again, they were forced to play their first road playoff game of the Patrick Mahomes era against Buffalo last week and narrowly won that matchup.

Heading into the game, the Ravens are favorites at home by 3.5 points. Strong odds, but hardly overwhelming.

In each of the four times these two quarterbacks have done battle, it’s been a high-scoring affair with over 50 points between them. We expect this one will be no different.

However, we expect that injuries might play a factor in this one. The Ravens have nearly all of their critical starters healthy for this one, while the Chiefs are in wait-and-see mode with leading running back Isiah Pacheco, who has a foot injury and may either be out or hindered or hindered on Sunday.

Mike Edwards, Willie Gay, L’Jarius Sneed, and Kadarius Toney were limited in practice today.

Derrick Nnadi, Skyy Moore (IR), Isiah Pacheco, and Joe Thuney did not practice.

The Spun is predicting that the Baltimore Ravens will win this game in a high-scoring, close game with a final score of 30-27 in favor of the home team.

The game will be played at 3 p.m. ET this Sunday and will air on CBS.
