Fortunately, head coach John Harbaugh ensured reporters that the Clemson product will be fine and that the neck injury sustained in the crash would not be a long-term issue.

Nate Wiggins Injured In Car Crash, Will Miss Week 2
Wiggins first joined the NFL as a first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Selected by the Baltimore Ravens, Wiggins enjoyed a successful career at Clemson but has struggled to stay on the field early in his NFL career. The rookie enjoyed a breakout performance early in Baltimore’s preseason opener but quickly suffered a shoulder injury that forced him to miss multiple weeks. While he entered the season healthy and appeared in Baltimore’s Week 1 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, he didn’t start and recorded two tackles.
With Nate Wiggins sidelined following the car crash, the team will likely rely upon fellow rookie T.J. Tampa to pick up the slack. A fourth-round pick, most draft experts expected him to go off the board in the second or third round, so he should be able to handle life as the fourth or fifth cornerback in the rotation.
The Baltimore Ravens face off against the Las Vegas Raiders in a game they should win even after the Nate Wiggins car crash. Gardner Minshew is a journeyman quarterback, and this roster lacks the talent to overcome his unremarkable play. Maybe Davante Adams or Jakobi Meyers finish with one or two more receptions, but Baltimore should comfortably bounce back from their heartbreaking defeat against the Kansas City Chiefs.
