The Baltimore Ravens should be looking to shore up their edge rusher room during the 2022 NFL draft. There are many great prospects available, so there should be plenty of options for Baltimore to add talented edge depth.
One of those talented edge players is former Florida State University star Jermaine Johnson II. He offers great play both as a pass rusher and as a run defender, so he brings the versatility that the Ravens value so much.

Johnson offers terrific length, standing at 6-foot-5. He is able to get off of the line quickly once the snap happens, and is a disruptive force who can get pressure on the quarterback in a multitude of ways. In the run game he is able to control the point of attack while holding the edge in an extremely stout manner.
There is a possibility that Johnson ends up falling to No. 14, and if he does he’d likely mark one of the best players still available at the selection. With how well Johnson would fit on Baltimore’s defense, it’d be well worth the Ravens while to make him the next member of the team.
