Ravens tight end Mark Andrews’ status for Week 1 has been up in the air due to a quad injury. On Friday, the team provided an update on the All-Pro.
Andrews is officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Texans.
The Ravens’ injury report shows that Andrews was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Andrews spoke to the media this week about his quad injury. He expressed confidence in his recovery process.
“I’m feeling good,” Andrews said. “I’ve obviously taken some time off and been slowly working back in. It’s been one of those things that’s been a little tricky. But I’m feeling better running around, just day by day getting better and we’ll see what happens.”
Andrews added that he’s “trying to be healthy, get healthy and help this team win games.”
Last season, Andrews had 73 receptions for 847 yards and five touchdowns. In the event he can’t suit up this Sunday, the Ravens would start Isaiah Likely at tight end.
