The Baltimore Ravens are preparing for their first full-team practice of 2022 training camp, which kicks off on Wednesday. Baltimore saw their veterans report for camp on Tuesday, which was a welcome sight as football is in the air once again at the facility.
While the Ravens’ roster has plenty of depth already, Baltimore general manager Eric DeCosta leaves no stone unturned in trying to make his team the best it can possibly be. On Tuesday, the Ravens brought in three players for tryouts in wide receivers Devin Gray and Bailey Gaither, as well as running back Calvin Turner.

Gray spent time on Baltimore’s practice squad in 2021 after previously being a member of the Atlanta Falcons’ organization from 2018 until the end of the 2020 season. He played in the USFL for the Philadelphia Stars in 2022. He played college football at the University of Cincinnati.
Gaither went to college at San Jose State from 2016-2020, and signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent after the 2021 draft. He retired in August of 2021, but came out of retirement to play for the Pittsburgh Maulers of the USFL.
Turner started his college career at Jacksonville University as a defensive back, but then shortly thereafter made a switch to quarterback, showing his ability as a dual-threat option. He transferred to Hawaii, where he would transition to running back and also saw time as a wide receiver.
