The Baltimore Ravens and defensive end Calais Campbell have agreed to a two-year deal. Campbell has spent the last two seasons with the Ravens after spending his previous 12 seasons with the Arizona Cardinals and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Campbell, 35, has played in 27 career games in a Ravens uniform, totaling 77 tackles, 10 of which have been for loss. Campbell has struggled as a Raven getting to the quarterback having his two lowest sack totals since his rookie season in 2020 and 2021. In two seasons in Baltimore Campbell has 5.5 sacks and 12 quarterback hits.
The Walter Payton Man of the Year winner in 2019, Campbell weighed retirement at the end of the 2021 season. However, Campbell still feels that he has more to give as he will return to a Ravens defense that will look improve upon its disappointing 2021 season. Campbell has evolved into more of a situational player playing less snaps, but his locker room presence as well as his ability to still make plays as he enters his 15th season makes Campbell a key re-signing for the Ravens.
