The Baltimore Ravens activated wide receiver Rashod Bateman from the Physically Unable to Perform list today, enabling him to make his training camp debut.
Bateman was a first round pick out of Minnesota in 2021, but injuries have limited him to just 18 games over his first two professional seasons.
The Ravens could certainly use him as part of their retooled receiving corps this season, so it shouldn’t be too surprising that fans are excited he was on the field today.
“LFG!!! Broddy contract Bateman returns Potential Clowney addition Wednesday is shaping up to be a good day! #RavensFlock,” one Ravens fan said.

Bateman has registered 800 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 61 receptions so far in his career, with much of that production coming as a rookie in 2021.
In addition to him, the Ravens also have free agent Odell Beckham Jr., rookie first round pick Zay Flowers and veterans Nelson Agholor and Devin Duvernay projected to be among the team’s top wide receivers this fall.
