It’s no secret the Baltimore Ravens need help at wide receiver.
After trading Marquse Brown last offseason, Demarcus Robinson led the position with 458 receiving yards in 2022. Whether or not Lamar Jackson returns, the team should locate another legitimate target to supplement star tight end Mark Andrews.
According to ESPN insider Jeremy Fowler, the Ravens have pursued trades for DeAndre Hopkins and Courtland Sutton. They’re also pushing to sign Odell Beckham Jr., but Dan Graziano said the New York Jets are considered favorites to land the free agent.

A year after sending Brown to Arizona, Baltimore could instead seek a receiver from the Cardinals. However, Graziano wrote that Hopkins’ hefty contract is “giving people pause for now.” He’ll make $19.45 million in 2023.
Hopkins missed time with a torn MCL in 2021 before getting suspended for a PED violation to begin the 2022 season. The three-time All-Pro turns 31 in June.
The Denver Broncos, who don’t have a draft pick until the third round, could dangle Sutton and Jerry Jeudy to help recoup some capital. Per The Athletic’s Jeff Howe, other teams believe their asking price on Sutton is “too high.”
Sutton submitted 1,112 receiving yards, but he hasn’t reached four digits since. He’s scored four touchdowns over the last three seasons while catching 56.8 percent of his career targets.
Yet Hopkins or Sutton would still represent an immense upgrade for the Ravens, who ranked 28th in passing offense last season.
