DraftKings sees the Ravens as real-deal
Back in March, DraftKings Sportsbook projected the Baltimore Ravens to win 8.5 games in 2023. The projection was released prior to quarterback Lamar Jackson re-signing. But now, 12 games into the season, the Ravens have beat the original projections total and find themselves in the hunt for the No. 1 seed in the by-far more challenging conference.
The Ravens have come a long way from the original projection, which pinned them at the bottom of the AFC North with the Pittsburgh Steelers at 8.5 wins. The sportsbook also had the Bengals projected to win 11.5 games and the Cleveland Browns were projected at 9.5 wins. Oh, how the mighty have fallen…
Nonetheless, they did get the division right. It’s been a highly-contested battle up until quarterback Joe Burrow went down with a season-ending injury. The Browns aren’t out of it yet either, even after losing Deshaun Watson and signing former Ravens legend Joe Flacco, who will start in Week 13. And per usual, Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin is dragging a poor team kicking and screaming to a .500 or better record.
But back to the Ravens, where the former projected bottom dweller of the AFC North is now a contender to win the AFC and Super Bowl.
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Ravens are heavily favored to win the division.

While they’re favored to win the division, they’re third-best in odds to win the conference.
