The Baltimore Ravens have seen a few of their injured players trickle back onto their active roster after missing varying amounts of time in 2021. They’ve needed all of the help that they can get, so any player returning gives them a boost.
On Friday, Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh gave a positive injury update on outside linebacker Pernell McPhee. When asked about if McPhee was coming along with his injury, Harbaugh said that the outside linebacker is close to returning from his ailment.
“Yes, he’s close. He’s close. I think he’ll be back real soon, right around when he’s able to be.”

McPhee landed on injured reserve with a knee injury right before the Ravens faced off against the Chicago Bears in Week 11. Harbaugh’s update is an encouraging one, as McPhee is eligible to come off of injured reserve before Baltimore’s Week 15 matchup with the Green Bay Packers. He could return around then, or a bit thereafter if the team wants to play it safe.
