The Baltimore Ravens currently have 10 draft picks in the 2022 NFL draft, including nine in the first four rounds. There are plenty of needs that the team can look to fill both on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball depending on what happens in free agency.
In his latest 2022 NFL mock draft, Ryan Wilson of CBS Sports put together his projections for the entirety of the first round. For Baltimore, he has the team shoring up their offensive line with Texas A&M offensive lineman Kenyon Green. Wilson explained that Green has plenty of positional versatility, something that the Ravens could value in a big way.
“Green plays angry, which immediately makes him a good fit in Baltimore. He can plays outside or inside and at Texas A&M he lined up against some of the best defensive linemen and edge rushers in the country. The Ravens need help at offensive tackle and Green, who may ultimately play inside in the NFL, provides the unit with some versatility.”
Green has played at every position but center, so he’d be able to play multiple roles for Baltimore’s offensive line. He uses his strength to clear a path for rushers and can match up with pass rushers in the passing game. He is projected by many to be a fit at either guard spot or right tackle at the NFL level, and with the Ravens’ need for offensive tackles, Green could be asked to play there if he’s drafted by Baltimore.
