The Baltimore Ravens added some running back help to their roster after losing Keaton Mitchell for the season on Sunday night.
They signed Melvin Gordon III to their 53-man roster after he was on the practice squad and also signed Jake Funk to the practice squad to take Gordon’s place.

Mitchell suffered a season-ending knee injury during the Ravens’ 23-7 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Before he went down, he had nine carries for 73 yards.
He’ll finish the season with 47 carries for 396 yards and two touchdowns.
Gus Edwards, Justice Hill, and Gordon will man the backfield for the rest of the season.
In Gordon’s case, he’s been on the practice squad all season and has been elevated for three games. In those three games, he’s rushed for 53 yards on 13 carries.
For his career, he’s compiled 6.515 rushing yards and 55 touchdowns on 1,580 carries.
The Ravens will be back in action next Monday night against the San Francisco 49ers.
