Ravens’ NFLPA Report Card sees improvements or stability in all but 2 areas

The NFLPA has released their 2025 report cards for NFL organizations. Here’s how the Ravens fared from previous seasons.

In 2023, the NFLPA announced their first-ever team report cards, graded by the players themselves. Since then, noticeable sweeping changes have occurred across the NFL as teams see their own players give anonymous but public grades on everything from their organization’s treatment of families to nutrition and staff to head coaches and ownership.

In 2024, the Ravens were ranked No. 15 out of 32 teams. But rather than comparing them to the rest of the NFL, how did they improve or regress from their previous years?

Improvements

Food Service: B (Previous Grade: C+)

Without insider knowledge, it’s unknown what changed in the Ravens’ food and dining area that caused the improvement.

However, personally having dined in the facility, I was blown away by the cuisine offered. On a random offseason Tuesday I joined members of the media for lunch and was stunned by the abundance. This, paired with the open snack bar on the way toward the locker room from the training fields, daily in-season meals prepared and set up on the same station from Chipotle, Chick-Fil-A and organization’s own prepared meals along — along with three coolers set up with various beverages along with prepared shakes of each player’s choosing, would hint things are all there for the players to enjoy.

Team Travel: A- (Previous Grade: C-)

As stated in last year’s article regarding the report card, I believe the grade was a victim of the brutal schedule the Ravens were given last season.

Week 4: @ CLE
Week 5: @ PIT
Week 6: @ Titans in England
Week 7: vs. DET
Week 8: @ AZ

Therefore, with a schedule not built to brutalize the Ravens’, their grade returned to it’s previous approval.

Regression

Head Coach: B (Previous Grade: B+)

In the 2024 grades, 79% of players felt Head Coach John Harbaugh is efficient with their time. This year, the number dropped to 75% (-4%).

This is a step back for Harbaugh by way of the player’s voting. It also places him No. 28 among all head coaches, ahead of the Chicago Bears, Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland Browns and New Orleans Saints.

This will be a point of concern for Ravens fans, who grow frustrated with Harbaugh as the head coach, though he’s highly-respected across the NFL. Similarly, Buffalo Bills Head Coach Sean McDermott is ranked No. 27. Another well-respected coach who falls low on the grade.

Treatment of Families: C+ (Previous Grade: B-)

The Ravens have bounced up and down a C+ and B- grade the past three years. The critique from players is “a desire for better, more direct communication between the team and their families.”

Top Grade

For the second-straight year, the top grade has gone to Owner Steve Bisciotti.

Owner Steve Bisciotti’s average rating for perceived willingness to invest in the facilities is 9.28 out of 10 from the Ravens players, a ranking of 9 out of 32 owners in the league.

The players feel Bisciotti significantly contributes to a positive team culture, a rank of 8 out of 32.

The players feel that Bisciotti is extremely committed to building a competitive team, a rank of 9 of the 32 NFL owners.
