Ravens OLB Odafe Oweh discusses offseason priorities for 2023

The Baltimore Ravens ended their 2022 season with a 24-17 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in the Wild Card round. The team finished at 10-7, and struggled in the second half of the year to get anything going.

One player who had high expectations but failed to deliver for the most part was second-year outside linebacker Odafe Oweh. The former Penn State star came into the season as the team’s de-facto No. 1 pass rusher, but wasn’t able to live up to the expected hype. When asked about what his priorities will be during the 2023 offseason, Oweh mentioned staying low, his pad level, and bending off of the edge.

“Staying low, pad level, continuing to consistently get off [blocks] and bending the edge once I get off. A lot of times, I get off, and then I don’t [bend the edge] or stuff like that. So, I’ll probably say that.”
