The Baltimore Ravens drafted outside linebacker Odafe Oweh with the No. 31 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, and he has proven to be a great selection by the team despite what some analysts said about his ability to generate sacks coming out of college. The second-year outside linebacker will certainly look to add on to what was an impressive 2021 campaign.
In the latest episode of the “Studio 44” podcast, Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey asked Oweh what he wanted individuals to remember about his style of play when his NFL career is over. Oweh was quick to respond with that he wants people to know that he is a winner.
“He was a winner. Always got better every year. He was just a dog. That’s what I always want people to just realize: I work hard and that I’m a dog, and I’m gonna win. Regardless of whatever odds you stack, regardless of what you say I can’t do I’m gonna just win. And you know I’m gonna find a way to win and I’m gonna keep on getting better. You might be good right now but I’m gonna be better in the future.”

Oweh had no sacks during his final season in college at Penn State. However, he had a very solid rookie season in Baltimore and could be one of the better outside linebackers in the NFL in 2022, especially with an increased role. During his rookie season with the Ravens, Oweh had 33 combined tackles, five sacks, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 15 games played.
