The Baltimore Ravens have been one of the most decimated teams in the NFL over the course of the 2021 season. They’ve had to deal with countless injuries as well as a very big COVID outbreak in their locker room, one that continues to impact the team.
On Thursday, Baltimore placed two players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list in fullback Patrick Ricard and tight end Nick Boyle. They also announced that they had placed Ricard on injured reserve, effectively ending his regular season. Both players are very big losses on the offensive side of the ball, where they have seen many key contributors be unavailable due to either injuries or COVID.
We have placed TE Nick Boyle and FB Patrick Ricard on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
We have also placed FB Patrick Ricard on IR.

Ricard and Boyle are staples in the Baltimore run game, something which has taken a step back in 2021 without the likes of J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards. Both guys have been dealing with injuries throughout the 2021 season, and now their placement on the Reserve/COVID-19 list results in more time missed.
For the Steelers, they placed wide receiver Diontae Johnson and center Kendrick Green on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Thursday.
