A “false start” was committed on Saturday in regards to Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady’s playing career, and it sent social media into a frenzy. However, after much speculation, the 22-year NFL veteran officially announced his retirement from the league on Tuesday. The news caught the attention of players on the Baltimore Ravens, past and present, who played against the seven-time Super Bowl champion.
With so much history between Brady and the Ravens, it was expected that some players who went up against Brady would take the time to respond on social media.

Before Brady played in Tampa Bay, he was a member of the New England Patriots for two decades. Baltimore had some memorable matchups against the Brady-led Patriots. Many will remember the AFC Championship game in 2013 when the Ravens defeated New England 28-13 to reach their second Super Bowl. Others will remember when quarterback Lamar Jackson and Baltimore hosted the undefeated Patriots in 2019 and sent them back home with their first loss of the season.
Brady will almost certainly be a first ballot Hall of Famer when his eligibility kicks in 2027. He will join former Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis, safety Ed Reed and tackle Johnathon Ogden for the first time as a member of the same team, in Canton, Ohio.
