The Baltimore Ravens could be looking at an overhaul on their defensive line unit during the 2022 offseason. They have a few big-name players who are scheduled to hit free agency, and it remains to be seen who will come back and who will depart.
On Saturday, former Raven and current Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Yannick Ngakoue began his Twitter recruitment of Baltimore defensive lineman Calais Campbell. Ngakoue made it clear that he believes it’s time to bring his friend over to the “dark side”, looking to pitch his new team to the defensive lineman.

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson caught wind of Ngakoue’s tweet, and said that Campbell likes his current team’s colors more.

Campbell and Ngakoue go back to their time with the Jacksonville Jaguars, and also spent a brief time as teammates in Baltimore. Campbell has said that he isn’t retiring, and it’s possible that the Ravens have interest in bringing him back based off of the production and leadership he’s given the team over the past two years. However as Ngakoue showed, many teams would love to have a player like Campbell.
