When the Ravens kicked off their practice session on Thursday, star quarterback Lamar Jackson wasn’t present.
“Ravens QB Lamar Jackson was not present during media viewing of Thursday’s practice,” ESPN reporter Jamison Hensley said.
Hensley noted that Jackson didn’t miss a single practice this season prior to Thursday.
Interestingly enough, Jackson spoke to reporters on Wednesday. He also wasn’t listed on the injury report. Perhaps his absence isn’t injury-related.

In 12 games this season, Jackson has completed 68.3 percent of his pass attempts for 2,618 yards with 13 touchdowns and five interceptions. He also has 574 yards and five additional scores on the ground.
The Ravens should provide an update on Jackson’s status in the coming hours. In the event he’s unable to play this Sunday against the Rams, Tyler Huntley would be the team’s starting quarterback.
For now, we’ll have to just wait for more information on Jackson’s absence.
