Johnson, who was drafted in the fifth-round back in 2008 out of San Diego, has had stints with 16 different NFL teams and was cut by the Ravens this season after a rash of bad injury luck struck their roster.
Tyler Huntley is currently Baltimore’s QB2 but it’s possible the veteran could work his way back up the depth chart once re-signed. Johnson last appeared in a game for the birds back in 2021 where he made one start and completed 28-of-40 passes for 304 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.
Few have had the type of pro football journey that Johnson has. But he continues to get jobs despite some of his limitations as an NFL quarterback.
We’ll see what the Ravens decide to do on Monday.
