The first-round cornerback out-snapped a starter while the second-round tackle held his own against a former Defensive Player of the Year.

The Baltimore Ravens are heading into their bye with a sour taste in their mouths after falling to the Philadelphia Eagles 24-19 at home in Week 13 despite contributions from several members of their 2024 rookie class. Their first two selections in particular faced daunting tasks but played well nonetheless.

Of the team’s rookies, only two – wide recevier Devontez Walker and center Nick Samac – were inactive. Here is how the rest of Baltimore’s first-year players fared in their latest taste of regular season NFL action.

For the fourth week in a row, Wiggins played over 60% of the team’s total defensive snaps and faced one of his toughest tests of the season. The first-rounder was matched up against Eagles Pro Bowl wide receiver A.J. Brown quite often on the perimeter and gave up a pair of receptions that resulted in first downs.

Wiggins played 19 snaps on special teams as well, his second-most of the season. Though his main role is on defense, he showed some development on special teams, including an impressive late field goal block that got called back for an offsides penalty.

In a game where the offensive line as a whole struggled mightily to hold up in pass protection and the run game, the second-rounder held his own better than the rest of the unit. Rosengarten was the only starter to not surrender multiple pressures with just one, per Pro Football Focus, and finished as the Ravens’ highest-graded player on either side of the ball.

Isaac was active for the third straight game, but didn’t play a single snap on defense. He recorded his fourth career tackle on a first-quarter kickoff, taking down Eagles running back Kenneth Gainwell. Isaac’s career-high 24 snaps on special teams were the third-most on the team.

The fifth-rounder was active for the first time in six weeks because the Ravens wanted to give him a chance to provide a spark in the kick return game. He delivered, totaling 62 yards on two returns including a career-long of 38 yards on his second to jumpstart the Ravens’ scoring drive at the end for the first half. His 13 total snaps on special teams was a career-high and the sixth-most on the team.

After missing his first game of the season last week, Kane returned to action on Sunday but pulled up while blocking on Ali’s first kick return opportunity in the second quarter. He was ruled out with a hamstring injury after a season-low 11 special teams snaps. and was quickly ruled out with a hamstring injury. Before going down, he logged a season-low 11 snaps, playing exclusively on special teams for the 10th time this year.
