Report: Ravens S Kyle Hamilton suffers Grade 1 MCL Sprain; Harbaugh calls it “day-to-day”

Reports from Bleacher Report’s Jordan Schultz says Hamilton’s knee injury isn’t serious

According to Bleacher Report’s Jordan Schultz, Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton suffered a grade 1 MCL sprain in Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.

If Schultz’ reporting is true, Hamilton may be back against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, December 17 in Jacksonville, which is a Sunday Night game. If not, the Ravens will hope to get a Christmas present in the form Hamilton’s return against the San Francisco 49ers in prime time.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Hamilton suffered a sprained MCL and is considered “week to week.”

Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh announced Hamilton is “day-to-day.”

Hamilton’s season to this point has him primed for a Pro Bowl season, and arguably an All-Pro nomination. In 13 games, Hamilton has totaled 69 tackles, nine tackles for loss, three sacks, two interceptions and one defensive touchdown. His versatility has made him arguably the crux of the Ravens’ defense, and it was clear the Ravens’ secondary struggled without him on the field against the Rams in the second half as they marched downfield. That said, the Rams’ offense can carve up just about anybody with their playmakers.

In other news, Pro Football Doc David J. Chao has now gone 0-for-2 with video diagnosing Ravens injuries. He’s done well at times with this, but 2023 has not been his year, and that’s a damn good thing for the Ravens.
