Despite nursing an injury this preseason, top NFL wide receiver Tyreek Hill is still generating trade interest just in time for the 2025 campaign. According to Bleacher Report, they’re reporting that Hill is getting looks from several rosters, but the Miami Dolphins have no intentions of trading him away. The speedster became the subject of trade rumors since the start of the offseason, and missing out on another opportunity to compete in a postseason matchup. Hill teased a trade request right after their latest loss, but was quick to walk back on his words and wants to stay in Miami.
However, no one should rule out a trade at all. The Dolphins aren’t necessarily postseason contenders this upcoming 2025 season, as it will be up to Tua Tagovailoa to stay healthy. Miami’s general manager, Chris Grier, isn’t closing the door on a possible trade either way since “two first-round picks” might be an enticing offer for them. Originally selected in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, the former West Alabama product is reportedly still working on the chemistry with Tagovailoa, which seems strange, being that the two have been playing alongside each other for so long. With that, it shouldn’t be surprising if the Dolphins decide to trade him to a team that needs another consistent playmaker in the aerial attack.

Potential Next Teams
Washington Commanders
The Washington Commanders need a major upgrade in the aerial attack. The team has yet to come to terms on a new contract for wide receiver Terry McLaurin, so it’s troubling to think that Deebo Samuel and two unproven weapons, Luke McCaffrey and Michael Gallup, can keep this pass-attack afloat. Tyreek Hill would be the perfect fit in this offense that is looking to win a Super Bowl sooner rather than later.
Baltimore Ravens
Meanwhile, back-to-back MVP quarterback, Lamar Jackson, would bring out the best in Tyreek Hill. He is a similar size to Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman, so these three, as the new triple-threat, could be dangerous in the AFC. As long as Hill can stay healthy, he could be the long-term WR1 alongside Flowers once DeAndre Hopkins retires.
Los Angeles Chargers
The Los Angeles Chargers signed Keenan Allen this offseason after losing Mike Williams to retirement, but it seems like the team is going backwards. Tre Harris and KeAndre Lambert-Smith are unproven, while 2024 draft pick Ladd McConkey is arguably the best slot receiver on this roster. Hill is the perfect last piece that the Chargers are missing when you have competition like the Ravens, Bills and Chiefs.
Kansas City Chiefs
Speaking of the Chiefs, no one should rule out the possibility of him returning to Kansas City. Even though Terry McLaurin could be a temporary option and trade target while they will lose Rashee Rice, the team is better off getting someone like Hill. He knows this system and could kick the tires again and run it back for at least five more years of potential Super Bowl appearances.
