Baltimore Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith wants everyone to know that he’s playing on Sunday.
Even though he missed practice with a shoulder injury on Wednesday, he confirmed on Thursday that he’ll be in the lineup against the Arizona Cardinals.
“I told the guys, ‘As long as the sun rises on Sunday, and the NFL don’t cancel any games, you’ll see me out there,’” Smith said, (first transcribed by ProFootballTalk).
Smith has appeared in every game for the Ravens this year and has been one of their best players. So far, he’s compiled 71 total tackles, 1.5 sacks, and five passes defended.
The Ravens are 5-2 heading into this game, which is good for first in the AFC North. They’ll try and stay in first with a win against a Cardinals team that’s lost six of their first seven games.
Kickoff will be at 4:25 p.m. ET.
